An essay written in Spanish about the times when Rock'n'Roll was born. Not only about the music, but also going through all the social, cultural and political context of those years.
For sure, there will be quite a lot of essays about this matter written in English and most of them edited, I guess, in the USA and England (no need of being Sherlock Holmes for that, though) but it was a true surprise to find this one written in Spanish (by Justo Serna and Alejandro Lillo) and edited in Spain (by Punto de Vista, in its "CoolTure" series).
I must say that it is a very interesting book, very informative and well witten, in an easy to read way.
Rock'n'Roll music, movies, cars, TV, the "American Dream", the youngsters... If you like Rock'n'Roll and everything around the Big Beat (and you can read Spanish) this is a book you will enjoy.
